PNA - Processing 101
Location: Chicago Training Center
Start Date: 09/19/2017 End Date: 09/20/2017 Fees: $350.00
This 1-1/2 day class is designed for new technicians to the molding industry who need a basic understanding of the operations of a molding machine and how to set and prep a tool for production. We will then review how to set up the machine for processing this particular tool and understanding of how pressure and speeds affect the final part. PNA - Processing 102 (Advanced)
Location: Chicago Training Center
Start Date: 09/21/2017 End Date: 09/22/2017 Fees: $350.00
This is a two-day class and the attendee must already have a basic understanding of how to set a mold for the molding process and mold parts. We will build on this basic knowledge and introduce scientific molding philosophies and how to use this knowledge to achieve better part quality. PNA - V50 Controller
Location: Chicago Training Center
Start Date: 10/17/2017 End Date: 10/18/2017 Fees: $350.00

EC Maintenance
Location: Chicago Training Center
Start Date: 10/19/2017 End Date: 10/20/2017 Fees: $350.00
The attendee must have a basic understanding of the TOSHIBA EC All Electric machines. Details of machine parameters, requirements for proper machine upkeep, and review of control functions will be presented. RJG - Part Design for Injection Molding
Location: Chicago Training Center
Start Date: 11/07/2017 End Date: 11/09/2017 Fees: $1895.00
This three-day course provides molders, tool makers and design engineers with a common language and the universal knowledge required to successfully design and produce plastic injection molded components. Class topics will address good manufacturing processes for plastic part design, fundamental material characteristics, basic tooling concepts, necessary processing characteristics, molding non-conformities, tolerances and how part design and material selection affect the cost of tooling and piece price. Improving general knowledge of the steps required for part design reduces the risk of less than optimum tooling conditions, thereby minimizing exposure to IM non-conformities that do not meet the quality requirements of the customer.     

PAULSON PROMOLDER 2
Location: Chicago Training Center
Start Date: 11/13/2017 End Date: 11/17/2017 Fees: $2195.00
This five-day class is an advanced injection molding course designed to develop injection molding experts by providing classroom knowledge, computer simulation and hands-on molding experience. This class is vendor neutral. Paulson teaches processing "from the plastic's point of view".
