Processing 101 - PNA
Location: Chicago Training Center
Start Date: 06/18/2019 End Date: 06/19/2019 Fees: $350.00
This 1-1/2 day class is designed for new technicians to the molding industry who need a basic understanding of the operations of a molding machine and how to set and prep a tool for production.  We will then review how to set up the machine for processing this particular tool and understanding of how pressure and speeds affect the final part.  We will be using an All-Electric Toshiba press in conjunction with this class.  Click  here to download the class synopsis

Processing 102 - PNA
Location: Chicago Training Center
Start Date: 06/20/2019 End Date: 06/21/2019 Fees: $350.00
This is a two-day class and the attendee must already have a basic understanding of how to set a mold for the molding process and mold parts.  We will build on this basic knowledge and introduce scientific molding philosophies and how to use this knowledge to achieve better part quality.  A Toshiba All-Electric machine will be used in process demonstration in conjunction with classroom training.  Click  here to download the class synopsis

Paulson ProMolder 3
Location: Ontario Canada Training Center
Start Date: 07/15/2019 End Date: 07/19/2019 Fees: $3095.00
This five day course is for Process Technicians, Setup Personnel, Lead Persons, Foremen, and Process Engineers who have completed both ProMolder 1 and 2 seminars.  There will be a review of ProMolder 2 preparatory, simulator, and molding machine operations.  Various topics will be discussed such as the effects of machine controls on the four primary plastic variables, injection mold assembly and nomenclature, true statistical process control, and advanced SimTech exercises.  In addition, there will be 80% hands-on machine time.  Students will be required to take a written and 'at-the-machine' ProMolder 3 exam.   Click  here to download the class synopsis

RJG Mold Design
Location: Chicago Training Center
Start Date: 07/30/2019 End Date: 08/01/2019 Fees: $1895.00
This three-day Mold Design course for injection molding provides molders, tool makers, and design engineers with a common language and the universal knowledge required to successfully design and produce plastic injection molded components.  Class topics will address good manufacturing processes (GMP) for plastic mold design, fundamental material characteristics, basic tooling concepts, necessary processing characteristics, molding non-conformities, and tolerances.  We will also discuss how mold design and material selection affect the cost of tooling and piece price.    Click  here to download the class synopsis
