GMP (Glass-Molding-Press Machine) molds high precision glass elements by heating, softening and press-molding glass material.

    The infrared lamp unit has been efficiently designed to promote the even distribution of heating molding-dies and allows independent temperature control for the upper and lower dies that achieves excellent dimensional accuracy even when producing optical-glass parts in special configurations.











      The press mechanism using an AC servmotor and lamp heating system simplifies the structure of the machine and controller and reduces the installation space. Also standard-equipped is an auto-loader I/F (interface) which supports mass production and automation in combination with your auto loader connected.

      The special controller incorporating precise positioning and closed-loop control of pressing force helps set flexible molding processes that meet a variety of products.

    A variety of products including multiple small and medium-diameter elements to a large diameter element can be molded. Maximum diameter of dies that can be mounted:
    GMP-211/211V: 110mm
    GMP-315/415: 150mm
    GMP-417: 170mm





      Functions provided by the control unit include:
    1. Setting of molding conditions (for temperatures, position, pressing force, etc.)
    2. Saving and loading of molding conditions.
    3. Alarm displays
    4. Display of machine operational steps
