Moldlyzer is a
computer program in the Injectvisor V30 control that continuously samples the
hydraulic pressure during injection and compares the actual data to a Model
Curve to determine part quality. The Model Curve is set by the operator based
on a curve established by an acceptable part. The basic features of the
Moldlyzer are:
Injection process is divided into 4 segments: start, middle, pack, and hold. In all zones, the actual pressure is compared with the Model Curve and if it deviates outside the preset tolerance band, the machine signals a defective part. (Each zone has its own tolerance level set by the operator.) At this point, the part can be rejected by the robot or a conveyor. |
